This California Privacy Notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

Categories of Personal Information We Collect
- Identifiers, such as name, email address, mailing address, account identifiers, and similar contact information.
- Customer records and account information, such as account credentials, verification status, account status, and subscription-related records.
- Commercial information, such as subscription records, billing cycle, payment status, and receipt links when billing is active.
- Internet or other network activity information, such as session activity, technical logs, and website interactions needed to operate and secure the service.
- User-submitted content, including saved searches, flagged opportunity notes, privacy request details, and blog or administrative content submitted by authorized users.
- Communications information, such as email verification records, alert delivery records, and correspondence related to support or privacy rights requests.
Sources of Personal Information
- Directly from you.
- Automatically from your browser or device in connection with operating and securing the service.
- From service providers that support website, email, or payment operations when enabled.
Business and Commercial Purposes
- Providing and maintaining the service.
- Managing accounts, authentication, verification, alerts, and billing support.
- Responding to requests, communicating with users, and handling privacy rights submissions.
- Detecting security incidents, protecting against malicious or unauthorized activity, debugging, and maintaining functionality.
- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our terms and policies.
Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to service providers or contractors that help us operate the business, such as hosting, email, or payment providers, and to legal authorities or other parties where required or permitted by law.
Sales and Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Sensitive Personal Information
Based on the service as currently designed, we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger a California right to limit use beyond the uses permitted by law. If that changes, we will update this notice.
Retention
We retain categories of personal information only as reasonably necessary and proportionate for the purposes described above, including:
- Accounts, saved searches, and related user data for the duration of the account.
- Payment-related records for the duration of the account and longer as reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, legal, or compliance purposes.
- Logs and email logs for no more than one year unless a longer period is needed for a specific legal, security, or operational reason.
- Blog and administrative records indefinitely unless removed or archived.
California Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable exceptions and verification, California residents may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we collected about you.
- Request deletion of personal information we collected from you.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
- Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, where applicable.
- Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.
How to Exercise Your Rights
You may submit a privacy request through our Privacy Request Form or by emailing contact@samsimplified.com. We may request information necessary to verify your identity or authority before responding. Authorized agents may also use the form.
No Discrimination
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your California privacy rights.
